New Jersey Voter Turnout Intern

This is a part time remote volunteer position requiring a commitment to a minimum of two hours each week day during the months of June, July, and August, and a commitment of one hour each day during September and October. Responsibilities will be daily contact with the National Coordinator and recruiting, on-boarding, and assisting membership based cosponsoring organizations within the state of New Jersey.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Community outreach and engagement experience
Passion for democracy and civic engagement
Ability to work independently and remotely
Proficiency in using technology and social media for outreach
Interest in voter turnout and mobilization efforts
Experience in political science, community organizing, or related field is a plus
Leadership positions past or present in similar organizations a plus
