We hope to connect with mid-career professionals who can dedicate one hour each weekday to work with enthusiastic college students to turnout the vote in every state in the US. 

"But voter turnout is a thing you do in Octobers of even years", we hear you say.

We disagree. Turnout Nation works to build long term relational networks in order to turnout voters. The two big advantages is that it costs almost no money and it works vastly better than any other method. The disadvantage is that it takes a great deal of time.

We are a zero-budget, all-volunteer, non-partisan, non-profit focused on increasing voter turnout by people helping friends vote in an organized, measureable, and scalable way.

We have developed a method to help volunteer "Voting Captains" choose ten contacts who they help vote. We match them to the voter file so that these Captains will know if these contacts voted or not after the election. This method is the most effective method to turnout voters, as tested by randomized control trial, the gold standard of verifiable proof. The method takes virtually no funding, but, like traditional organizing, takes much more time than the various stranger-to-stranger or broadcast methods used by campaigns. 

We know what to do and how to do it and have many currently enrolled volunteer college students in several states ready to work, we just need mid-career volunteer professionals to guide, coach, and oversee their work. This requires no specific experience, simply a commitment and a willingness to help.
