UW Voter Turnout Coordinator
Turnout Nation is a non-partisan non-profit all-volunteer organization that seeks to increase voter turnout by helping organizations help their members to increase voter turnout via their close friends.
Seattle will hold a municipal election this year with a voting deadline of November 4th. Turnout Nation will conduct a randomized control trial testing its "Captain Method" in which Voting Captains help ten friends to vote. We hope to conduct this trial among sororities at UW. The Coordinator will be responsible for identifying sororities interested in participating, on-boarding the sororities, and measuring outcomes.
Turnout Nation has already achieved the highest turnout effect ever tested by randomized control trial and we hope to beat our past record with this trial in Seattle.
