2021 Organizing Fellows

Reshan

I am excited to help get out the vote because I believe that every voter deserves the right to be informed and engaged throughout the whole election process. Since we are in an off-year election for 2021, I want to spread awareness about the importance of municipal elections at both the primary and general stages because we now need to focus on who can represent us on a more local level in our government.

Pronouns: He/him

Fun Fact: I am certified in Dog Psychology (in order to prepare to be a future dog owner)

Voting is the most important aspect of political participation you can have and we need to collectively be more aggressive in ensuring the vote gets out across the board.

Pronouns: He/him

Fun Fact: I am a huge sports fan, I specifically love to watch NBA Basketball.

Neha

I'm excited to help get out the vote because I am passionate about decreasing the barriers associated with voting so we can keep increasing our voting turnouts each year! Hopefully, we can eventually get to a point where everyone will be able to vote without worrying about their other obligations. The civil rights issues of the past still have not been resolved, and I am passionate about helping to work on that by equalizing our playing field in terms of voting.
